Ruchika Fest ‘23
3rd & 4th August 2023
@Dome, NSCI, SVP Stadium, Worli
RUCHIKA FEST ‘23 was an extravaganza of designers, exhibitors, and fashion enthusiasts who made this event a resounding success. Participants who came from around India were carefully screened, to cater to the niche crowd of visitors. The heavy footfall on both days was both humbling and gratifying. With the festive season of Raksha Bandhan and Sawan, the Fest featured brands that would suit the occasion.
The two luxury lounges at the entrance: SR Artefacts had luxurious silverware to adorn tables and homes while TableKursi had meticulously crafted designer furniture. Both lounges had a lot of visitors, admirers, and interested buyers.
The imposing white peacocks in the hall were a great photo op for everyone. The Chief Guests were men and women of stature and renown – Mrs. Amla Ruia, Dr. Manju Lodha, Sima Taparia, actress Juhi Babbar, Mazhar Bhai Nadiadwala, Director of Dome, and NSCI President Viren Shah. It was an honor to have them inaugurate the show.
It was a well-curated show, with a diverse collection. The Diamond and Jadau Jewelry stalls were housed in larger stalls, to showcase their craftsmanship. Lifestyle products to bed linen, footwear to accessories and home décor, casual and formal wear, everything was available. Rakhis, papercraft, and gifting options were given low-cost stalls in the passage around the main hall. Visitors could shop without breaking the bank.
NGO’s were given complimentary space. All of them did excellent business for their cause, and many had to restock for the second day. Ruchika’s own vocational center, Nayee Disha received many compliments for their creative out-of-the-box products.
The packaged Food section had interesting additions. Organic vegetables and fruits, healthy, gluten-free snacks and sweets, lots of chocolates and cakes to savor, dips, sauces, spreads, and innovative cheese platters. Buyers could taste and then buy. First-time entrepreneurs got an encouraging response.
The Food Court was managed by SR Foods. Started by our senior member Suman Rungta, it was professionally managed by her son Ashish. There was a vast choice of snacks and meals on offer. The ‘Tea Coffee and Chit Chat’ stall was managed by 7 Ruchika Members. It was a big hit on both days.
The entire collection from the exhibition goes towards supporting the Ruchika Charities. This makes it a worthy endeavor for all the hard work that precedes a show of this magnitude. Our grateful thanks to all our sponsors who made this venture viable.
The love and support of participants and visitors have left an indelible mark in our hearts. We welcome you with folded hands to Ruchika Premiere 2024 on the 9th & 10th of January at Nehru.
