Craft gives happiness and Happiness is Handmade.
B Wing organized a “Lippan Art” workshop for its members. They invited Ms. Gouri Nargale, an artist by profession and conducting classes for many years in Lippan art and Dot Mandala.
Lippan is a traditional mural craft of Kutch, Gujarat. It’s handcrafted on wooden pieces or walls using clay, paints, and mirrors. Members were provided with the kit which had a pre-colored and pre-drawn designed wooden base on which the artwork was to be done.
Everyone enjoyed the process as Gouri patiently instructed them.
Everyone’s efforts culminated into a beautiful masterpiece which could be used as a wall hanging or a rangoli. The highlight was the live relay of an entire workshop on the screens all around the restaurant.
South Bombay Bar served us some delicious starters like pizza, pav bhaji tostadas, paneer chilly, etc., and a lavish buffet layout to conclude with mouth-watering desserts.
A large turnout of the members showed their enthusiasm to learn a creative art. They were very elated taking home a beautiful handcrafted artwork created by themselves.
